Monolith comes with a customized look for the touch-enabled Responsive Slider plugin, which you can see in action above (you can also use the plugin’s default looks).

The slider can be placed into the header and content sections of a page or the content section of a post. And if you so choose, you can of course install your own slider plugin of choice; nothing in Monolith prohibits you from doing that.

And, as is the case with anything that’s an extra in this theme, using sliders too is 100% optional. Not a fan? Simply don’t install the plugin required and keep your site as light as you’d like.
