The gallery makes use of a customized version of the popular PhotoSwipe software. It works on mobile devices as well as desktop browsers and makes use of touch, keyboard, mouse controls, and allows you to navigate galleries by swiping, with the left/right keys, your mouse wheel, or by tapping/clicking the left/right navigation arrows.

The gallery comes in a plugin and integrates seamlessly with WordPress (all 9 columns are supported), meaning you don’t have to learn a new interface just to insert galleries.
