The open-world offshoot of Microsoft’s flagship racing franchise Forza will be seeing more numbered entries in the future. That’s according to Microsoft itself, who at PAX East assured fans that it has no plans to put brakes on the popular series.
With a new entry expected in the main Forza Motorsport series in 2017 though, don’t expect another Horizon festival to kick off until fall 2018 at the earliest. Developer Playground Games recently also started building a second team which will focus on a brand new intellectual property; one that is NOT in the racing genre.
